Sue is a hopeful optimist and believes we really can change the world. She agrees with Nelson Mandela who said, “It is in your hands to create a better world for all who live in it.”
As an Joy Activist, 'Love, Life and Laughter Coach', Professional Inspirational and Motivational Speaker, Sue presents workshops in corporations, churches, schools, colleges, retirement homes and many other groups. She has worked in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, and she will speak and present workshops wherever joy and laughter is needed.
The advance of technology is helping her in her commitment to her mandate to take joy and laughter to the ends of the earth!
Sue leads a joyful, dynamic life, full of adventure and surprises. She's a 'fly by the seat of my pants', 'live the life out of every day' kind of girl and yet, as a woman of faith, she always finds time to savour quiet moments of reflection and contentment. She is a positive, creative and passionate person who injects drama into every project and celebrates every achievement.
What affects Sue deeply is lives half lived, potential not reached. She often quotes Henry David Thoreau, who said, 'Most men (and women) lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them'. She believes she is called to make a difference in people’s lives and has a great desire to help them find their song.
Here are some of her favourite quotes...
Don't ask yourself what the
world needs, ask yourself
what makes you come alive
and go do that. Because what
the world needs is people who have come alive.
Life is 10% what happens and
90% how we respond. When attitude is right there is no
barrier too high, no valley too deep, no dream too extreme
and no challenge too great.
Excellence is the result of caring more than others think is wise, risking more than others think is safe, dreaming more than others think is practical and expecting more than others think is possible.
